ShiftMaster for DOS v3.0 is program for modeling vehicle acceleration. This program was designed for serious performance enthusiasts, drag racers, and anyone interested in detailed analysis of straight line acceleration.

Features include:
- Optimal shiftpoints are determined by vehicle weight, driveline gear ratios, driveline efficiency, engine output and redline, ambient weather conditions, tire size and type, and the rotational inertia of the entire  drivetrain.
- Separate tire models for Radial, Bias Ply, and Racing Slicks.
- Customize for your driving skill (how fast you shift, powershifting, launch technique, etc.).
- A complete torque curve can be generated using only 2 engine data points. (graphing available).
- Effects of air temperature, barometer, altitude, humidity, and wind.

To install: after copying and extracting the compressed zip file (smv30e.zip) simply run INSTALL.EXE. The install program determines if your system has a numeric coprocessor, then copies the appropriate files to the destination directory. After installation, SM.EXE starts the program.  A .PIF file
and  icon are included for running ShiftMaster in Windows.

To run, enter: SM (After install)
